Learning about the body and about abuse made it very interesting as I had not heard these things before. I have no real experience or teaching on this and always was wondering why people get sick and how babies are born and all the various health issues about women.

Overview: For the parents of deaf children, finding suitable
mates for their sons and daughters is not an easy task. While The Deaf Way
Foundation has been assisting families on an individual basis for many years,
our Matrimonial Assistance Programme now provides this necessary and much-
needed assistance on a national scale. The Parinay Milan Sammelan is an opportunity for the deaf and their families
from across India to come and meet prospective partners in a relaxed and
comfortable environment.

The Deaf Way Foundation is a
voluntary organisation working in India in various fields of social endeavor.
One of the major fields of work is in the area of Deaf Welfare. The Deaf Way
Foundation is conducting a number of programs beneficial to the deaf in various
parts of India including Delhi,Chandigarh, Patiala, Ludhiana, Jalandhar
Gurgaon, Hisser, Bhopal, Varanasi, Dehradun, Patna, Shimla, Hyderabad, Jaipur
and Indore. The programs include Vocational Training and Placement Services,
Interpreting Services, Counseling for Youth and also for the Parents of Deaf
Children, Leadership Training and Personality Development, Sign Language
Seminars, Deaf Education Methodology Seminars for Deaf Schools and so on.
The
Deaf Way has been conducting matrimonial assistance programs for the past 8
years and these have been held both nationally as well as on a local level. We
have had a tremendous response to the meetings with large numbers of people
attending and many marriages being confirmed.
