2nd All Punjab Boys Kho Kho Championship for the Deaf was held at the Sports Authority of India Training Centre Multipurpose Hall, Opposite Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana on 8th May 2010. The Chief Guest for the occasion Mr. S. Jaswinder Singh Bhandari, District Sports Officer, Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana opened the matches. Seven different schools participated in this event.

Everybody was very excited as this was the first time such an event was organized. Senior Coach Ms. Surinder Kaur said she had never heard of Kho Kho matches for the deaf and was very pleased to be part of it. Mr. Jetal Ramaiya, Branch Manager, The Deaf Way, Punjab said that he was happy such an event was organized for the first time and that too in Punjab. Mr. Anuj Jain, Secretary, The Deaf Way Foundation, was thankful to the Punjab State Sports Council who gave the suggestion to hold such an event and was hopeful that we would organize more of such events in the future. Our Guest of Honour Mr. S. K. Mohala too was very impressed seeing the active participation of the deaf students and was of the opinion that they too were equally good players as the normal students were. He not only congratulated all the winners but also commended The Deaf Way Foundation for organizing such an event.

Of the six Deaf Schools, School for The Deaf Children, Tagore Nagar, Ludhiana were the champions of the day and won gold medals. Students from the Vatika High School for the Deaf stood second and received silver medals. Deaf Schools from Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Khanna, Mandi Govindgarh, Ropar and Ludhiana participated in the event. All the students got participation certificates.
